About Marisa

Marisa is dedicated to empowering others to grow and succeed. With a foundation in higher education, she thrives at the intersection of personal growth and organizational effectiveness, creating engaging learning experiences that inspire action and build confidence. She has held a range of leadership roles, designing initiatives and delivering impactful programs focused on leadership development, mentorship, academic support, and curriculum design.

In 2016, Marisa transitioned into faculty and consulting roles. As faculty, she teaches courses on leadership, organizational behavior, and nonprofit management at colleges and universities throughout New England. Specializing in adult learners and nontraditional student populations, she designs and delivers curriculum aligned with evolving workforce needs and best practices in adult learning. As a consultant, her work has focused on supporting nonprofit organizations through leadership development, workplace culture enhancement, and the creation of tailored programs.

Since joining Bishop House Consulting in 2024 as Training and Development Project Lead, Marisa has supported strategic initiatives and trainings aimed at engaging, supporting, and developing people leaders and mission-driven teams. She coordinates and executes cross-functional efforts to align curriculum development, facilitation support, and client engagement.

Marisa holds a CAGS in Higher Education and Administrative Leadership from Plymouth State University, a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western New England University. Marisa is a certified DiSC® facilitator.

Based in Massachusetts, Marisa enjoys her free time outdoors with her three children, discovering great local food with her spouse, and reading lakeside in New Hampshire.
