About Marisa

Marisa is deeply committed to empowering others to grow and succeed. Her career has been shaped by her passion for supporting personal and professional development, grounded in higher education. Over the years, she has held leadership roles where she designed and implemented programs aimed at fostering student growth, including student orientation, mentorship initiatives, leadership training, and academic coaching.

Seeking to make a broader impact, Marisa transitioned into faculty positions and consulting roles. As faculty, Marisa teaches courses on leadership, organizational behavior, and nonprofit management at universities and colleges throughout New England. She specializes in working with adult learners and nontraditional student populations. Her course offerings include Leadership for Managers, Conflict and Communication, Workplace Coaching, and Nonprofit Management.

As a consultant, she has worked with nonprofit organizations, offering leadership development, enhancing workplace culture, and creating tailored programs and curricula. Marisa is thrilled to support the work of Bishop House Consulting as they build leadership capacity in individuals and teams.

Marisa earned her B.A. in Psychology from Western New England, her M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut, and her CAGS in Higher Education and Administrative Leadership from Plymouth State University.
