Towards a Goal
Once a goal is established by the team, it can be defined by objectives which are accomplished via tasks. A scorecard can be a helpful tool to identify goals, keep track of key tasks, due dates and responsible parties.
Establish a team scorecard after agreeing on results, key goals and objectives. Review the scorecard at the right frequency to create accountability and to achieve results. This may be done at team meetings or other forums depending upon the structure of the work. The color coding provides a quick visual of items on track and slipping.
