EPIC Instructions for Managing Custom Messages
Go to Personal Options > Manage Custom Messages. From here you can create a new message or modify an existing message.
To Create a New Message:
- Select an existing folder, or to create a new folder do the following:
- Click on the Create a new Message Folder button
- Enter a folder name
- Click the Create Folder button
- Click the Create a new Message button OR click on the Create a new Message link next to an existing folder.
- If you chose the Create a new Message button option in #2, select the folder where you would like to store the message.
- Enter a Title for your message.
- In the box below, enter the text of your message.
- Click Save.
To Edit an Existing Message:
- Expand the folder where the message you wish to edit is stored by clicking on the plus sign next to the folder.
- Click on the Edit link next to the message you wish to edit.
- Make the desired changes to the message.
- Click the Save button.
To Transfer Messages from One Folder to Another:
- Click the Transfer Contents link next to the folder that contains the message(s) you wish to transfer.
- In the Messages to be Moved section, place a checkmark next to the messages you wish to transfer.
- Select the destination folder and click Transfer Messages.
To Rename a Folder:
- Click the Rename link next to the folder you wish to rename.
- Enter a new folder name and click Rename Folder.
To Delete a Message:
- Expand the folder where the message you wish to delete is stored by clicking on the plus sign next to the folder.
- Click on the Delete link next to the message you wish to delete.
- Click OK on the confirmation prompts that appears.
To Delete a Folder:
- Click on the Delete link next to the folder you wish to delete. NOTE: the folder must be empty before it can be deleted. If you wish to delete a folder that contains messages you must first transfer or delete the messages.
- Click OK on the confirmation prompts that appears.
